Enjoy the communal gardens and excellent walking tracks within the 40-acre estate surrounding the holiday cottages. Guests are free to use the vast outdoor space, including a grassed paddock area in front of the Farmhouse for ball games. Picnic benches are available onsite for fine weather when you want to be outdoors or have a rest while watching the children run around and play. Add to that ample onsite parking for all shapes and sizes of vehicles, and there will be no stress getting situated or corralling the family back into the car for a day trip. Durham City is close by, so Plawsworth Hall is a country break but close to a city where you can get everything you need.
We Have a Variety of Accommodation Options
We have various self-catering holiday cottages and apartments, including premium accommodation options in our small Durham village. Plus, a few of our holiday cottage spaces are dog friendly if you want to bring your four-legged friend with you on holiday.
Options include a choice of one- and two-bedroom apartments, three-bedroom cottages, or a premuim one-bed or premium two-bed. All accommodation, whether big or small, is stylishly furnished and fully equipped as those little extras make your time away nicer, including high-chairs and cots available on request. The spacious and fully fitted kitchen/dining area has gas hobs, an electric oven, fridge and freezer, microwave, kettle, and toaster, cooking utensils and crockery, washer/dryer, and iron with an ironing board. In addition, every space has central gas-fired heating, a comfortable lounge, a TV, and the most essential, high-speed WIFI connection.
Our weekly housekeeping and linen service will keep your self-catered space in tip-top shape during your stay, while an onsite office and reception will assist as required.
